Hi, can you try to replace this line in your configuration file:

data_dir_local_cifar10 = "/home/karen/cifar-10-batches-bin/"

with

data_dir_local_cifar10 = /home/karen/cifar-10-batches-bin/

which removes the double quotation marks.
