Great timing- we were actually talking about this yesterday at work, as we need it for a project there. This is high on my list.

@tedivm do you have any idea of when we can expect it ?

Not a concrete one- ideally before the end of this month. Any specific reason I should push harder on it?

Also, just so you know my plan, I was thinking of putting a "native" (using the php redis extension) driver into stash directly, and then creating a second driver that uses the Predis project as a stand alone component. That way Stash would still have no solid dependancies. Alternatively I could include the Predis handler and put it in as an optional or recommended library in the composer file. Any thoughts on any of these methods?

@stof just an update, I have the basic code written but need to kill off a some bugs that are preventing it from passing it's unit tests. After that I gave a few things I'd like to optimize a bit, and then I'll merge it in. I'm hoping it'll be wrapped up in the next couple of days.

@stof, the redis driver is working and passing all unit tests. There's one more feature (supporting multiple functions) that I want to finish up, and then some housecleaning and this will be ready to merged back into master.

Alright, multiple server function is complete, custom unit tests done, and the feature is merged back into master. The next release, v0.10.5, will have redis support directly available. The StashBundle has already been updated to reflect this new functionality as well.

No problem, thanks for the suggestion! I just pushed up the new documentation ( http://stash.tedivm.com/ ), and v0.10.5 was tagged and pushed up to packagist earlier tonight. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see in Stash!
