Hmmm, all the live service tests run fine using Requests 2.9.1 on Python 2.7 and 3.4. Which version of Python are you using? Have you tried Requests 2.9.1?

I've run the test suite with Requests 2.9.0 with Pythons 2.7.10, 3.3.6, 3.4.3 and 3.5.0 and haven't hit any problems. Is it possible to provide the headers of a failed request, along with the error from AWS? You can get the headers with something like:

>>> response = requests.put('<URL>', auth=auth, ....)
>>> response.request.headers
{<Dict of headers, can you send this?>}

from requests-aws4auth.

I upgraded to 2.9.1, it works with it, so seems to be a problem in 2.9.0. I wouldn't bother too much with it, if it works with 2.9.1
