java.lang.NullPointerException when outputting world vectors, Map not viewable about tectonicus HOT 6 CLOSED

There are no Layers specified for the map in the config file. At least one Layer is required.

I had a similar issue, also a configuration error. I was using a 1.7.x minecraft.jar on a 1.8 world.

Would it be possible to detect such mistakes in the configuration, alert the user, and exit gracefully?

For the layers error, it does print a warning to the console twice, but it's easy to miss. I'll look into handling configuration errors better, at least giving a meaningful error message instead of just printing a stack trace.

Did the code get any error message improvements, or should we open a new issue to track it?
