Looks like implementation of some of the configuration stuff from Tectonicus 1 was never finished in Tectonicus 2. There's a bunch of work that needs to be done to get this all working again and update the documentation so it's not confusing and contradictory.

After looking through the code, this specific issue with the "viewsInitiallyVisible" parameter was an easy fix. The configuration code and docs in general still need a bunch more work, but a fix for this issue will be in the next version of Tectonicus (2.20 probably).
