i have the same issue on my server - this probably can be done via the Google Maps API (Polyline) - it just needs to feed in a file (XML or CSV) with coordinate pairs, color/category and a "message" and draw a line between the 2 points - at either end of the line place an infowindow and you are done

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/polyline-simple

adding this in the main() function works pretty fine - but you can't see the polyline since imagetiles or groundoverlays are always above the Polygons - so these needed to be drawn directly on the Image tiles

var polyline = new google.maps.Polyline({
	path: [
		minecraftMapType.projection.fromPointToLatLng(new WorldCoord(-50, 0, 64)),
		minecraftMapType.projection.fromPointToLatLng(new WorldCoord(-5000, 380, 64))
	 ],
	strokeColor: '#FF0000',
	strokeOpacity: 1.0,
	strokeWeight: 2

  });
polyline.setMap(map);
