It's much easier if you were to explain a lot of this in text rather than a long title and an unannotated, unembedded YouTube video.

I can, however, explain the sound with Amy's special moves. We currently don't have a way to get at the sounds from within Origins Plus, so we substituted with existing sounds we had access to. If you know a way to perfectly extract the new sounds for Amy, we'd love to have them so we can put them into Worlds Next!

Very confused by what you are pointing out here... spikes have always hurt you through shields. I did notice that the swinging bar at the end of the video resulted in the player getting stuck. I'll look into that one before long... not sure what happened there.

I THINK the issue is a sound discrepancy? It's not playing the spike damage sound.
