Other non-Object values (e.g. null) do this as well, though those are legal JSON values, but invalid JSON Schema values for "properties".

This particular error is an easy one-line fix, but there's still a larger question of how do we handle invalid schemas? Generally, that throws an Error without returning a validation result.

Also, fixing this will likely introduce a subtle bug where "b" is a defined property, and so skips additionalProperties validation, so "b" ends up not being validated by anything.

This should be fixed in 326e43e:

• Undefined values in "properties" and "patternProperties" should be handled the same as no value
• Null values will throw a better error
