Great point! Fading & changing if there are related things are much better cognitively than switching to another slide. (While for new points / topics the slide switching is actually beneficial.)

For instance, check out part of the Unhosted presentation (advance with arrow keys) – that’s something that should be possible in Strut also.

Regarding UI for that, maybe it should be presented by something like »slide groups« – it basically is one slide with subslides (which you could collapse in the slides list and which would be one element in the Overview).
