Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V are working for me except for on the transition editor. Was that where you tried to copy and paste?

Ah! I found the issue:

  1. Select an element to cut/copy
  2. Ctrl+C or Ctrl+X or use the Edit menu → Cut/Copy
  3. Click another slide in the slide list
  4. Although the slide shows, you need to click it first to make pasting possible

Instead, selecting the slide in the slide list should already make it possible to paste.

Another cut/copy issue: It is not possible to copy any text from a text field. Regardless if wanting to paste it inside the text field again (move the text) or paste it somewhere else (a different field, or someẃhere outside Strut), the cut/copy action does not seem to be picked up – regardless if you use keyboard shortcuts or the menu.

When text is selected, the cut/copy should act upon the text.

Does the following also work: When a piece of text is in the clipboard, from another text field inside strut or from somewhere else – and there isn’t a specific text field selected (or just no text field on the current slide – is it possible to create a new text field with that text inside? Instead of like now, inserting text just works inside a text field.

Update regarding keyboard shortcut library: Mousetrap seems to be the new cool stuff. It’s better & more maintained than Keymaster.

The last thing to do was to allow copy/paste to work in the overview mode which I'll fix this Monday.
