Manually deselecting a row that has been hidden via globalFilter throws an error about table HOT 5 OPEN

I've just stumbled upon the same issue.

Have you been able to come up with a workaround? Perhaps using table.setRowSelection(...)?

I've tried table.setRowSelection(), and it works. I'm using row ids (via TableOptions.getRowId), so I'm not sure it works in the same way for you, but in your case you may try something like this:

table.setRowSelection(selection => {
  const { [row.original.id]: _, ...rest } = selection
  return rest
})

Do you have a link to the commit / pr that fixes this? Is it perhaps fixed by the fix for #5119 ?

I just tried with the latest version of react-table - 8.11.7 - and the error still gets thrown on row.toggleSelected(false) for a row hidden due to the global filter.
