@jmcelreavey You're having this issue when you try to initialize local runtime right? 'npm run dev'? I think i'm running into the same issue. [I need to take a look at my .env and .env.example files].

Were you connected to the network at that time? Because React Query by default will not fire mutation unless you have network connection

React Query does not allow mutations while offline by default. Other than that, mutations work in @latest for the specified list of packages. The linked example does not seem to have been scaffolded with Create T3 App. If you have a more specific reproduction, please feel free to open another issue.
