Tooltip pops up twice when tapping on a point that has overlapping lines in line chart about flutter-widgets HOT 12 CLOSED

Root cause: Tooltip was raised from both hover and tap callbacks, so it shows two times while having multiple series with same x and y position.

Root cause: The tooltip touch bounds are too small. So, when tapping on the nearest to the segment, the tooltip was not displayed.

I've got the same problem.And i found when series property length is 1,the problem is no more continue.

The reported issue occurs due to the tooltip is showing from both the hover and tap callbacks. We need some time to fix the issue without breaking any other existing behaviors, so we are unable to resolve this issue within the planned timeline. We are currently working on it and will include the fix in our upcoming weekly patch, which is expected to roll out on May 28, 2024.

Hi @LokeshPalani checked out the latest release from the team. It solved the issue of tooltip popping up multiple times, but introduced several bugs:

• Touch response is not good. The tooltip shows up once after clicking on the graph points many times.
• If a single graph line is selected from legend the tooltip almost stops responding.

Please let me know if any code changes from my side can fix as well. Couldn't find any changelog for the latest version to refer to making it difficult to deduce if any is necessary.
