thanks for the note. we should address that here.
you should probably restrict to a lower version of imagine bundle. @lsmith77 would you know in which version the BC break happened? can CmfMediaBundle handle both newer and older versions or do we need to declare a "conflicts" in composer.json?

thanks for the quick reply.
yeah i downgraded imagine bundle to 0.20.2 which works fine. As the media bundle also seems to require 0.12 of imagine bundle this problem might only occur for me as i installed imagine manually then ?
Also not sure about the actual change in imaginebundle, as it also includes and undefined var which throws a warning, but i created a ticket there as well.

i dont think it will be easily possible to support both. however this work targets 1.0, so I think for now we will just need to require < 1.0 .. and once 1.0 is out we will need to drop support for pre 1.0
