This is strange. It seems to be an issue in the REPL, since it's been working with compiled stuff. We should look into this further. Can it be reproduced outside of Docker, on "raw" Linux?

I don't have a Linux box handy to try it on at the moment. I did verify that it looks good from the compiler. I mounted a local folder with a simple program in random.swift:

import Glibc
print("random = \(random())")

and then I ran it with:

docker run --rm -v /c/src:/root/src swift:latest swift /root/src/random.swift

got the expected output.

Thanks for that workaround. I verified that it does work on Windows 7 and Windows 10.
