There's definitely no reason this could not be done and if there's a good need for it, we can do it.

Currently private posting keys are kept separate from the UI for security reasons, but this could be changed. I would want to review the security implications before doing it.

It does strike me that we may not want to enable large scale bot operations with many accounts, on principle of respect for the platform. It's not clear to me that it would be a problem though, but I have a nagging sense of it.

A number of accounts limit could be set but that feels arbitrary, it isn't technically required.

Overall I think it's a good suggestion but I'd be interested in hearing a comment from you or others on my concerns.

I feel like limiting the accounts would limit the users that this program has.

Also is it possible to only show pubkeys within the UI of the program, so that the private keys could not be extracted from it so easily.

Also maybe encrypt the file where the keys are stored with a passphrase which user needs to enter to get access to the keys..

It might discourage some users, but what do you think about the concerns I have? Specifically, the potential to use this easily for bot armies. It's certainly not the intention of the project.

Currently the private keys do not pass through the frontend UI at all. There would be little risk in showing public keys so we can do that.

I would not be worried about potential use case for bot armies. Those who run bots, most likely, already have tools to manage them.

Thanks for the comment @Gandalf-the-Grey . You're probably right. I think I'll green light this.
