Do you mean that they would just be colored differently? Because from the demo, all the way at the bottom, it just looks like this:
But it's just 1 color. Wouldn't really call that syntax highlighting..

It seems like the only thing that would need to be done is to include the syntax modes. I added for example JavaScript:
CSS would need to be improved too. Question is how much including 30+ syntax modes would blow up this extension in memory foot print? I would rather keep it lean.

Ah I see. Well, we don't have to prebundle them. The Code Editor includes all the modes, but makes a separate request for each of them when they're called up. Could probably do something similar here, but not sure how we would go about it, since with the Code Editor, we have a selection list where the user can initiate the request. We don't have the same setup here..
