Alright, fixed it (after using the source...)
Had to distribute my sizing across two of the Shadow views like this:

By the way: things I tried:
- Applying my slide style to containerStyle: worked partly, but now the shadow was formed around the text, and not around the slide container
- Applying my style to viewStyle: no effect
Compliments for this library by the way. Great work!
