ugggh tried again, looks like alpha3 has the same issue, I need to figure out what's up.

Thanks, actually this isn't intentional.
During the development of alpha 2, I moved some artifact names around, renaming leakcanary-android-core to leakcanary-android-debug and then recreating leakcanary-android-core to have a few shared classes. Then I realized that probably wasn't a good idea for backward compatibility and reverted. Everything looks right in terms of project setup, and yet, somehow leakcanary-android-core in alpha 2 is a module with that single shared class. Very weird, I don't know what I did.
That release is borked, I'll make a new one.
