Thanks for creating this issue. We intend to release Spring Web Flow 3.0 with a Spring Framework 6 and Java 17 baseline. We can make an initial milestone available in July, and overall aim for a GA release in time for Spring Framework 6 in November.

The main branch is now on Spring Framework 6 after spring-projects/spring-framework#109. Many thanks to Ian Young for that!!

spring-faces is currently excluded from the build. It would be great if someone with more experience with JSF could help with the upgrade, but for now it remains excluded, so we can move forward with Web Flow core.

Tiles support can no longer be used as it has no compatible version. Thankfully, it can be replaced with Thymeleaf layouts. I've began updating the samples, and the booking-mvc sample is already fully working. The changes can be seen in the following 5 commits. This did require copying over a few Thymeleaf/Web Flow classes from thymeleaf-spring5 that are not yet available in thymeleaf-spring6 but I have requested those to be added in thymeleaf-spring#300.

I am insanely happy to hear that SWF still has a future...and I will be seeing some new code Real Soon Now. Just the sort of statement I was hoping for.
