This project went far beyond the scope of the course and I later partnered with a classmate to create a web service that allowed people to share their artwork. Although the site is no longer active, the paint applet still exists in my heart (and in this repository). Note: the app was originally made for Google Chrome and was not adapted for cross browser support

This project aims at optimizing distance traveled by pallet jack operators in an industrial warehouse setting. It was developed for a real scenario in order to improve the efficiency of the workers in the space. The program uses a genetic evolution algorithm to minimize distance needing to be traveled, while leaving the program general enough to account for changing orders and unexpected stock.
