how did you solve it? the installation instructions don't really say anything about overriding the admin_orm.xml and mine is also not being parsed.

if you're trying to override the Admin classes, just put a class with the same name in the generated Application bundle, e.g.: Application\Sonata\UserBundle\Admin\Entity\UserAdmin.php

I was able to override admin_orm.xml in app/Resources/SonataUserBundle/config/admin_orm.xml but since an update it's not working anymore. I've tried in app/Resources/config/, in Application/Sonata/UserBundle/Resources/config/admin_orm.xml too but it's not working either.
