@boboldehampsink Can you clarify what it is you're referring to exactly, and which project config file (including path) is affected?

@kjmartens I'm referring to user groups (permissions) in config/users/groups/*.yaml, which looks like this for calendar:

calendar-manageeventsfor:1

Instead of

calendar-manageeventsfor:$UID

Ok thanks... I can see this happening as well. However, it does seem to still work correctly for me. Is this not the case for you? We'll get it adjusted, but I just want to confirm this isn't actually breaking the site for you, as it appears to be doing no harm in my testing.

@kjmartens it is breaking if your production site uses a different id then your local development site. Which is what I had. I had to manually point the production calendar id to the one saved in project config.
