The Solid site has a pretty flat structure. Between home/docs/guides these are the only pages with substantial information. React and Vue have sprawling websites with considerable amounts of information. At this moment I'd argue we don't necessitate a search bar as a result. Most users, especially this audience of developers/power users, would know how to find the right information on these pages.
As the site grows we can certainly consider adding in a search bar. I'd likely use something like Algolia for it's fast and accurate search feature. =)

Although this is true, it may not be straightforward for users to find information for someone visiting the site for the first time. For example, to find out about support for lazy
, I had to guess it's on docs page and Ctrl+F for the keyword lazy.
The idea is to have a search box in Navigation bar which would show results for the keyword (say lazy
) in all categories where it is available - docs, resources, tutorials, examples etc.
