There's all sorts of bug here...
Firstly, trying to connect to a publishReplay'd synchronous source stackdumps.
Secondly, there was a bug in my understanding of the publishReplay operator: It is supposed to replay to late subscribers even if they connect after the source has completed. Currently it empties the replay buffer after the source completes.
These should be fixed in the commit and pr above.
