Very good question. From my experience, the dataset is always made private, regardless of the status of the source dataset. Do you think control of the ported dataset's privacy would be a useful enhancement?

Everything is potentially useful but this one would be pretty low priority for me. What would be a much bigger problem is if the dataset were made public when we were expecting it to remain private. If we can be confident that won’t happen, I think we are ok for now. Thanks.

Default behavior confirmed to be that datasets created via a Port Job are always private.
