I’ll verify what exactly they’re doing, because AFAICT they just use a string for parameters when getting a mix.

As for this issue, I haven’t forgotten! Right now I’m tackling a few big important changes (cleanup, restructuring, modularity). I’m attempting to make Beatbumps codebase feel more manageable, essentially. This is different than the refactor from last year, since now I’m just removing a lot of things and simplifying

Question:
I’m not sure how this all works exactly, but I’m pretty sure that YouTube music’s shuffle button works with an algorithm instead of actually shuffling the songs randomly, would you be implementing YouTube music’s shuffle feature or creating your own for Beatbump? Sometimes the same artist’s songs are repeated multiple times and having an algorithm to check that would be nice (Lmk if/where I’m wrong about any of this, but this is a question that’s been on my mind for awhile)

Also I’m assuming that a truly random shuffle would be better in most scenarios
