First one could not be removed (#xtor=) because for browser it is not a parameter. See amazon refs, they are similar
Second one: Firefox does not allow remove params on mozilla.org by default. You should go to about:config and add some parameter (sorry, don't remember exactly the name)

Here's my today's example:
Neat URL v5.0.0:

- Fails in both Firefox Nightly and Chrome, both latest
- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/neat-url/reviews/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_content=addons-manager-reviews-link
- Fails only in Firefox Nightly, OK in Chrome
