Yah, accessing the request from the message is something we don't encourage. It's really just there so internally when you call msg.say() it can reply to the original request instead of making another api call. There are also some scenarios we're exploring w/ using Slapp in a serverless architecture where you may have no context of an http request.

Extending message.meta in the context lookup function is totally encouraged, and how we are using it ourselves in slapp-context-beepboop middleware.

Just FYI, I need that req object only for access some extended attributes like logger.
