hello Skrylar
I m a little confused about the new Rack license too and as you say it seems like a final decision at this point. but I think we must give to Andrew a vote of confidence since He has shown of making correct decisions for the vcv rack, we should think that even if he is wrong he is acting in good will.
however I hope you reconsider your decision or at least you can continue working on SKjack (and skylights) at least until we can coordinate a way to maintain this module.

He is welcome to pay me to add more value to his product and life, but it
doesn’t make much sense for me to starve so he can have a larger pie to
siphon off of.
When I thought he was “one of us” i saw this as a public service. He is
not, and so this isn’t.

We could discuss something like this if you'd like, just email [email protected] with an offer. Linux users account for around 2.5-3.5% of Rack's userbase and probably half of them would enjoy using JACK, so I could justify a budget for your work.

I hope you two can come to an agreement. I'm one of the 3% and would really love to have a decent working Jack plugin. Rack on Linux is pretty painful right now audio-wise.
