Actually... running again into the issue

Error: Webpack Compilation Error
./node_modules/crypto-hash/index.js 5:50
Module parse failed: Unexpected token (5:50)
You may need an appropriate loader to handle this file type, currently no loaders are configured to process this file. See https://webpack.js.org/concepts#loaders
| import crypto from 'node:crypto';

This time when running Cypress integration tests. Am I supposed to import this package conditionally only for specific environment, i.e. not when running tests?

from crypto-hash.

Solved: adding types fixed the issue

yarn add -D @types/crypto-hash

from crypto-hash.

Closing as it's a problem with Webpack or Webpack config, not this package.
