searching of folders is there at the main screen, with a button for searching for files in all folders since 6.8.3

Cool, I also looked for a search box as I have so many folders with good folder and file names synced from my PC to phone. The box is under "all media" in the menu. Didn't notice before the feature is already there.
Maybe, you can add the "search glass icon" to the main gallery screen on the top bar? [Feature Request]
