What are our thoughts on the proposed metrics above?

I think that it is THE biggest software to learn Ladder & Graphcet laguages : two programation languages that are well-used in industries. But, compared to C, it there are two small languages.
It is also rarely used by companies.

So, it's a pretty big one in his domain. But not the biggest, and does not the most used programmation languages.

I just want to add some more information here.

There are several companies making Programmable Logic Computers, aka PLCs, and almost all of them have their own software to program their own PLC, to put it in simple terms. Zelio Soft is one of them and Schneider is one of the popular industrial PLC manufacturers.
In terms of similar software to compare with, only Codesys has a separate website. Rest of them being manufacturer owned are just a page on their main website.

Even though I recognize the importance of the tool, in simple-icons we don't have any metric to measure popularity of such things.

@volcanofr I understand the importance but we need some measurable metric to add it, so that we can use that yardstick on other brands too.

Thanks for the request @volcanofr - though we're unable to accept the SimilarWeb rank here as that's for the brand website se.com - and not a domain specifically for the requested product. Is there another metric we can use?

I didn't found any other stats but I have found an svg version of the app ("Zelio Soft 2" software) logo.

I know, for sure, that most of french students in electricity and automation have already used this application.
And I have found a stats that we can be based on: YouTube. @adamrusted

Unfortunately we don't use YouTube views as a metric of popularity. If you could run a Google Trends against similar brands we already include, then we could look to use that as a metric for inclusion.

There is absolutely no PLC (aka. Ladder) editor.

But here is anyway Google Trends global stats (aka. brand editors).
And Schneider's stats (they have multiple softwares - EcoStruxure is way more than a programming editor).

Here is also a good stat to watch: the "PLC" searches (+"LD" and "FBD")

Zelio Soft have an average score of 5/100 compared to
the biggest PLC editor (which is Siemens PLC) have 80/100, and he is the only one far ahead.
"PLC" term itself has a score of ~70 points average in the past 12 months.
