Tag for simbody 3.3 release about simbody HOT 8 CLOSED

I have been waiting to hear that it is done. Any objections to tagging it now? @j-rivero @hsu

The tag is a good idea, indeed.

The release was done on top of branch simbody-3.3 at that time, but use a proper tag for releasing is a better option.

Simbody-3.3 tag created at current simbody-3.3 branch head. I will delete the branch shortly.

Thanks Sherm. I made a homebrew formula for simbody in osrf/homebrew-simulation based on that tag. I'm using that formula for testing with gazebo on osx.

Nice! If you want to take a crack at fixing CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX, please do. Otherwise I'll get to it ... someday.

It's on my list. There's only so much cmake I can handle in a given day.

I don't know if we should delete the branch. What if we wanted to make a patch release?

In git-land wouldn't that normally be done by creating another "fix it" branch? Since tagging==releasing (I think) the version would have to get bumped to 3.3.1 anyway so using the 3.3 branch seems wrong.
