That's a core 1.9.2 crash bug - you'll need to upgrade to a newer version of Ruby to fix that, e.g. 1.9.3.

sidekiq 1.2.0 was working fine for me with ruby 1.9.2 but stopped working after I upgraded to OS X Lion.
I was able to get it working after I rebuilt ruby 1.9.2 with rvm using gcc from https://github.com/kennethreitz/osx-gcc-installer instead of the one shipped with Xcode.
