there are a couple of issues here:

1. For the snack to work, you need to use code splitting as done at https://snack.expo.dev/@wcandillon/hello-snack
2. Then on iOS and Android, ref.current might be null as pointed out by TypeScript. Leading to an expected error.

Are you using TypeScript? TypeScript gave the error immediately. These bug reports take a bit of time on our side to investigate so I hope you can investigate them as much as possible before reporting them.

yes I love snack but it's probably not advanced enough but such project.
Do you have requirements to use snack? Sometimes I try to development on snack but it's actually really hard because you are missing a lot of the advanced tooling from VSCode

@wcandillon : The main reason is easy I don't have to build the whole environment, I just put the code and I can use it.

In the past and even now, when I try to run the code on the PC there can be errors with the development environment, which wastes my time.

Especially with the weird errors that don't appear in anyone's documentation or issues.

@wcandillon : If I want to try it on the Mac, I simply need to add the package, files and install the node modules.
But what should I insert in the package.json to make it start?
