We are not going to be using the auto-generated avatar. Instead, we'll use a default image.

In order to implement this functionality, we need to create a server endpoint of the following format:
GET /api/avatar?handle=sharpvik
Where the handle parameter is optional. If we receive this query without the handle param, we assume that it is a logged in user asking for their own avatar, in which case we'll try to fetch it for them. If they are not logged in, we should respond with status Unauthorized.
