The "out" parameter is indeed missing. Also it would need a wrapper method to include both size and buffer data.

It would be nice to get method like:
DataBuffer GetDecoderBuffer(vDecoderRef, VideoDecoderBufferType);
Where DataBuffer is class for filling buffer and with Lenght property.

Return of a DataPointer is usually preferred, as it doesn't create any object on the heap, and you can easily instantiate a DataBuffer or DataStream from it.

Issue is fixed. @shersh you can rebuild SharpDX from source to get it right now or wait until it gets into the latest 2.5.1 dev package.
