@tschug I'm now not sure this is a bug. The Training Indicators where we definitely saw the issue, it was a typo - the icon was written as standard:custom26 rather than custom:custom26. Which you have now fixed via a new commit https://github.com/SFDO-Community/Salesforce-Indicators/blob/feature/samples/unpackaged/config/training_Indicators/customMetadata/___NAMESPACE___Indicator_Item.Training_Basic_Icon_with_Fore_HEX.md
But I think I have seen it myself, so I will leave it open for now for more testing.

@JodieM there was a typo in the training CMDT as you lointed out, but also in the code. So I think this is resolved if unable to replicate.
