Samsung Galaxy phone not detected as mobile phone on Browserstack about mobile-detect HOT 5 CLOSED

We've had a similar issue #35 and I checked and it seems like BrowserStack is using some 'stock' User-Agents for the virtual machines, so not the real ones. I'll double check with BrowserStack team and see what we can do about it.

Are you using Varnish to cache and speed up the site or for the detection itself?

Thanks for looking into the issue with BrowserStack. Answer is yes to your question - we're using Varnish both for speed and for detection. We need to move the detection to the Varnish layer, because a request may never hit our web app. We've written a custom drush command (we're using Drupal) that uses your library to write a VCL file that contains the detection logic -- so thanks for the library! It's been working well so far. It did increase the load a lil bit on the Varnish server, and SysOps wanted us to improve the regex, but we didn't want to deviate from your library's regex.

@djbobbydrake @thezonemedia received official response from BrowserStack. They are aware of the issue, they are upgrading their solution where this problem will not exist anymore. The update will be in "couple of months". I will notify you when it's done!
