We have better support for Pydantic now but it is on the dev branch and is not released yet.
When I run your sample on the dev branch, I get this:
{'type_changes': {"root['ID']": {'old_type': int,
'new_type': str,
'old_value': 1,
'new_value': ''}}}
That looks fine to me. I will be releasing the new version soon.

@codingbutstillalive I also checked your example with the current release and it worked fine. Please post reproducible code and open a new ticket since the example you have brought up works fine.

So. Is there any assumption on why it works in your case but not in mine? Any updates? Or same version of the package?
Ah, I now see it myself, I suppose.
It is a "type changed" event. And not "dict value changed" or however it was called (cannot remember it straight out of my head now). I then have to apologize for the inconvenience. I wasn't aware of that additional category.
