Custom objects as properties about jsduck HOT 2 CLOSED

Yeah, there currently is only support for built-in types like String, Number, RegExp and Boolean.

There is some merit to your suggestion, but I have to mention that this kind of instantiation looks like a code smell to me. Unless you really want a static property, you don't want to add objects directly to your prototypes, or the instances of your class will all share them, causing strange behavior like this:

Ext.define("Engine", {
    start: function() { this.on = true; }
});

Ext.define("Car", {
    engine: new Engine()
});

var ford = new Car();
var ferrary = new Car();

ford.engine.start();
console.log(ferrary.engine.on); // will print true

Because of this problem, I hardly see the kind of code you describe. Are you sure your use cases are valid ones?
