I have been able to successfully test the time module using an integration test, and was able to use seash.py from the attached demo kit without issues.
I susspect that this issue may be caused by having non-conectivity to satya.cs.washington.edu, I've sent Ravi a test to run to verify this.

Ravi was unable to ping staya.cs.washington.edu
the centralizedadvertise service running on that machine is critical for the new time module. We need to resolve this by using a different lookup service to find timeservers.

We should add hooks to communicate with OpenDHT (#539). This will allow this to work if Ravi can either get to satya or openDHT is working.

in r2530 changed tcp_time.repy and time_server.repy to use advertise.repy
advertise.repy uses both openDHTadvertise and centralizedadvertise, which should fix any problems with lookup issues.
