What command are you using to run the manager? I'm guessing this is because you don't have enough cores -- DPDK is only reporting 2 logical cores.

OpenNetVM is pretty core hungry - it typically expects 1 core for RX, 1 core for TX, and 1 core for NF management. Plus one additional core per NF.

If you are running this in a VM can you increase the number of cores available? That should help.

We should be providing a better error message instead of core-dumping (assuming it has gotten through the EAL init and is back in our code here)

Aah, my bad. I was running it on a VM with only 2 cores. I will increase the cores and run. Thanks a lot.
