The first issue was solved in 33764ab. Remains to try on Gisette.

I get division by zero errors on Gisette. Line 237 in least angle. The coef_ looks ok, though.
The division by zero error is the same I get in the LassoLarsIC doctest, that @agramfort and @GaelVaroquaux failed to reproduce IIRC.
I got the same error on two different boxes btw. Can anyone try
