Yeah, its a Python version problem! Its no longer Python2 compatible, you'll have to install via Python3.
You can do:
python -m pip uninstall playlistfromsong
python3 -m pip install playlistfromsong
from playlistfromsong.

Got it working, thanks!
I uninstalled successfully like that, but I wasn't able to install with:
python3 -m pip install playlistfromsong
I had to cd to:
/usr/local/lib/python3.6/site-packages/pip
and then:
python3 __main__.py install playlistfromsong
I think it had some weirdness to do with my own Python / pip setup
from playlistfromsong.
