Ok I'm found the bug. If you don't have a </body> the injection just doesn't work. I already had this issue in the past intesso/connect-livereload#12

Getting the same issue. Livereload doesn't seems to work for me with true.

I just understand that there is no livereload snippet injected. Is this gulp plugin supposed to inject it ?

Thank MoOx -- That does not seem to to be the cause of the issue here, as there is a ... unless there was a version without it. :)

If you specify the livereload port, you must also add enable: true due to the way options are merged.
