I think if you change it to:

@shared_task()
def foo(*args: Any, **kwargs: Any) -> None:
    ...
    return None

it should work.

Still a bug though, never got around to adding the types for the non-call type since I always pass name= as a param to the task

I believe this is still a bug. For instance, if I provide a parameter to the decorator like this the same error raises:

@shared_task(retry_backoff=60)

from celery-types.
