Maybe something like --no-core

Yep, --no-core will be a boolean by default always false.

The command exits with an error code, meaning I can't chain commands like ...

It is designed to exit w/ error code, excerpt from the usage section

By default it will error out only for -u|--unused,
however if you do not want the process to exit with a non-zero exit code, use the -n|--no-error along with -u|--unused

That is something quite nice IMO. I just meant that in this "special" case, it didn't work as I would have like.

Is this something that you still want to think about, or are you just waiting for someone to start working on it? If it's the second, I don't mind working on it, will just have to find some time for it.
