So, yeah. I was about to go to sleep, but it's your fault that I'm not.

I've managed (or at least I think I did) to create a port. It's in the git repository itself (/sysutils/bsdinfo). As far as I've tested it, it should work correctly.

However, I did some shit with the downloads, so in https://github.com/samaelszafran/bsdinfo/downloads you may see a 3KB file, while the ports system will try to download a 32KB one. This might be due to some cache on cloud.github.com, from which the download origins (I may have deleted this file a few times and re-uploaded it again. But hey, it's 3:00 am and it's your fault that I'm doing this!), but I hope that the cache will expire, and the port will be working 100% perfectly.

While doing some tests with the original tarball (simply put in /usr/ports/distfiles) I didn't find any issues. I'll wait with closing this issue until I'll be sure that the cache has expired, and the port will downdload properly.
